there are only 4 easy steps in installing wordpress! installing wordpress:

1. download. download the latest version of wordpress package to your local machine.
2. unzip. unzip the file using the winrar archiver.
3. upload. upload the unzipped folder to your domain (or subdomain) folder under your hosting service provider admin panel or you may use filezilla ftp client to do this.
4. install. after you successfully uploaded the whole folder, install wordpress by visiting your domain (or subdomain - where you uploaded the files) on the browser and just follow the instructions. wordpress will guide you throughout the whole setup.

note that you need to setup your database during the course. and so, you need to identify your database information beforehand. the database is provided by your hosting service provider. the database information can be attained in the phpmyadmin of your host admin panel. sample database information:

• host name eg. db2.awardspace.com
• database name eg. myusername_db
• user name eg. myusername_db
• password eg. !@#$%^&*

when successful, you will be prompted with a username and a temporary password to login to your wordpress admin panel. login, change your password, and blog!
